I’m super interested in relaxing, hiking, & spending time in nature, but I’m unsure about breathwork, reiki & meditation. What if I laugh or can’t take myself seriously?
Despite all the planned sounding very serious – I’m someone who wholeheartedly believes in laughter therapy. I anticipate no shortage of laughter & joy on this retreat. 😉 While retreats can bring up some heavy emotions, they’re also a great place to let your inner child play, to laugh, & to enjoy having fun.
It’s okay if you’re inexperienced or unsure about any of the sessions – all I ask is that you come with a curious & open mind to have the best experience for you.
I’m looking to book a solo trip… is this the right retreat for me?
Yes! Wellness retreats are a great space to meet like-minded people. Personally, I traveled solo to my first retreat years ago; I ended up making many friends, several of whom I consider my good friends today.
I’d like to book the wellness retreat with a friend. How do I do that?
We love a wellness-loving friend! Please click the “book” button next to the room you’d like, include both of your names & emails within your message.
How do I get to the retreat?
Your retreat includes private round-trip transportation from Cancun International Airport to the retreat location (~1 hour travel time). Your airfare is not included.
How can I secure my spot?
In order to reserve your spot, you will first be taken to a Google Form to fill it with your information. Because this is a retreat for women, I want to ensure I’m curating a safe & supportive environment for every single attendee - which is why the process is different than booking a traditional vacation at a hotel or Airbnb/VRBO. Once your submission comes through, I’ll send you a secure payment link where you can pay by credit card, Zelle or Venmo.
What are my payment options?
You can pay via credit card, venmo, or zelle. Payments can be made in installments of 4.
What are your qualifications?
I’m a certified yoga instructor through the American Sports & Fitness Association, level-II reiki certified (since 2019) and have held energetic clearing, energy balancing, meditation, journaling & self-discovery sessions – both for friends & in a professional setting over the years. I’m a former dancer, fitness & kickboxing instructor, & dance teacher who carries pieces of each experience with me throughout my healing practices & day-to-day.
In addition to learning the chakra system & studying reiki under Bernadette Doran, RMT (Equilibria Energy + Education), I’ve always considered myself a lifelong student & the Capricorn in me can’t help but dive head first into subjects that interest me through continuing education, practice & discovery.
I have dietary restrictions. Can I still come? Will there be food for me?
Yes! Food is a love language of mine 😉 & my goal is to make sure your body, mind & soul are all nourished. Please note any concerns when booking, and I’ll be sure your allergies or restrictions are communicated with our culinary team.
I’m a little anxious about joining a retreat where I don’t know other people. Is this the right retreat for me?
1. As someone who has experienced anxiety for years – I get it! Know that you’re not alone in feeling this way & it’s completely normal to feel a bit anxious about a trip. I invite you to explore what these anxious thoughts might be telling you; could they be rooted in false beliefs? Could some of these anxious feelings be excitement? Of course, please feel free to reach out to me if there are any particular concerns I can address. 💙
2. My goal is to cultivate a welcoming space for you to experience the relaxation & rejuvenation you need. This is YOUR retreat – so while I encourage you to have an open mind & explore the unknown with curiosity (ie; breathwork, meditations, reiki, etc.) you’re free to relax in your room or around the property at any time without judgment.
3. I’ve always enjoyed meeting new people from all different walks of life on this retreat. My intuition tells me that you’ll meet someone on this retreat who will become a friend, a helper in your healing journey - or both.
Is there anything else I should know before signing up for the retreat?
This retreat is designed to not only support you on a personal level, but cultivate a community of individuals and a supportive, welcoming environment. By signing up, you agree to treat both yourself + your fellow attendees with kindness, compassion, & an open mind. This is a space to come as you are, regardless of your gender, race, sexual orientation or religion, and any form of discrimination or bullying will not be tolerated. Please know that joining the retreat means stepping into a safe space where you are free to explore, love & nourish you just as you are.
